Beloved,
The book of Acts is the book of evangelism. Just what was it that the early apostles preached? I think sometimes we get sidelined by non-essentials, so I thought I would set out the theme of the book of Acts from the book itself.
God Bless,

To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion, by many infallible proofs, being seen by them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: Act 1:3
Beginning from the baptism of John, to that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. Act 1:22
Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held by it. Act 2:24
Men, brethren, let me freely speak to you concerning the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us to this day.
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn to him with an oath, that from the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
He seeing this before, spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption.
This Jesus hath God raised up, of which we all are witnesses. Act 2:29-32
And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; of which we are witnesses. Act 3:15
And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. Act 4:1-2
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Act 4:10
And with great power the apostles gave testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Act 4:33
And we are witnesses of all things which he did, both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree.
Him God raised the third day, and showed him openly;
Not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
And he commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is he who was ordained by God to be the Judge of the living and the dead. Act 10:39-42
And though they found no cause of death in him, yet they desired Pilate that he should be put to death.
And when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulcher.
But God raised him from the dead:
And he was seen many days by them who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people.
And we declare to you the glad tidings, that the promise which was made to the fathers,
God hath fulfilled the same to us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
And as concerning that he raised him from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou wilt not suffer thy Holy One to see corruption.
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, and was laid to his fathers, and saw corruption:
But he whom God raised again, saw no corruption. Act 13:28-37
Opening and alleging, that it was needful that Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach to you, is Christ. Act 17:3
Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoics, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? some others, He seemeth to be a setter-forth of strange gods: because he preached to them Jesus, and the resurrection. Act 17:18
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness, by that man whom he hath ordained: of which he hath given assurance to all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again concerning this matter. Act 17:30-32
But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. Act 23:6
But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men. Act 24:14-16
Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day. Act 24:21
Therefore, when they had come hither, without any delay on the morrow I sat on the judgment-seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth;
Against whom, when the accusers stood up, they brought no accusation of such things as I supposed:
But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus who was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive. Act 25:17-19
And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers:
Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.
Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead? Act 26:6-8
Having therefore obtained help from God, I continue to this day, testifying both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should show light to the people, and to the Gentiles. Act 26:22-23
For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain. Act 28:20
