Dear All, This is so well said that I had to pass it along.  We are in a time of unprecedented evil that is flooding every aspect of our lives.  We need to be reminded that ours is not a cheap grace employed to us by a doddering old god that accepts us for all our sin.  He is Almighty God, not One that any of us should seek to offend. ~Al  And Jehovah said to Moses, Go! This is an incredibly moving story. ~Al I was born catholic, got pregnant out of wedlock, got married, got pregnant again, got left, and after 5 years, got engaged, got pregnant, and left again. And on December 31, 2017, when this photo (bottom) was taken, I was incarcerated. I've always known Jesus. We go to mass every Sunday, and I've seen my father serve at church religiously. When these unfortunate things happen in my life, I will pray to God. And I wonder if He hears me or if I met the criteria He's looking for so that He would answer my prayer. I just knew one night in July 2017, I was at the end of my rope; I got out of bed and knelt down, asking God to save me. I counted how many of the 7 sacraments I've done or if I did more good than bad to increase my chances of an answered prayer. One of the hallmarks of cults is the concept of total obedience.   Once this concept is accepted, then the rest of their propaganda is easy.   You can pass off the corniest of stories to a gullible populace by just starting them off on the path of total obedience.
