Joseph

Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph .  Exo 1:8   The king that knew not Joseph   It is said Joseph was not "known" by this dynasty. This is a strong expression, used to denote the perfect obscurity into which this good and great man had fallen; or rather, the contempt in which this benefactor and true patriot was held by those who were unable to appreciate him. Angels

Hello All, Angels.  I don't know much about them, but it is wonderful to know that they are there.  This comes from Genesis 32:1-2. ~Al And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him.  And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God's host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.  Gen 32:1 -2       Mahanaim   I cannot tell, for Scripture says not, in what form they appeared, or by what sign Jacob recognized them. It is perhaps in the most general view of the passage that its truest comfort lies. It matters not to us what the Patriarchs thought or knew of the ministry of angels, so long as we ourselves recognize the true place of that ministry in the economy of God.
